Estamos diante de algo similar \u00e0 compra da McIntosh pela Bose em 2024, em que a primeira \u2013 uma das marcas mais cultuadas do mundo \u2013 vinha perdendo f\u00f4lego, enquanto a segunda buscava expans\u00e3o num segmento (\u00e1udio high-end) que at\u00e9 ent\u00e3o lhe era estranho (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/orlandobarrozo.blog.br\/2024\/11\/19\/por-que-a-bose-comprou-a-mcintosh\/\">veja aqui os detalhes<\/a><\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>Curiosamente, tanto Bose quanto Barco s\u00e3o corpora\u00e7\u00f5es dirigidas por mulheres, o que pode indicar outra poss\u00edvel tend\u00eancia num mercado at\u00e9 hoje essencialmente masculino. Embora o conceito de \u201chome theater\u201d tenha se desgastado nos \u00faltimos anos (assim como o conceito de \u201chigh-end\u201d), \u00e9 evidente a sinergia entre a empresa l\u00edder em sistemas de proje\u00e7\u00e3o (Barco) e duas inovadoras em \u00e1udio de alto padr\u00e3o (Focal e Naim).<\/p>\n<p>Falta agora combinar com o mercado consumidor. Nas \u00faltimas semanas, alguns investidores do segmento audiovisual levantaram d\u00favidas sobre o investimento feito pela Barco, que anunciou ter usado somente dinheiro pr\u00f3prio para fazer a oferta de \u20ac135 milh\u00f5es. Solu\u00e7\u00f5es para Sa\u00fade trazem outros 30%, ficando a divis\u00e3o Corporativa com 20%. Esta \u00faltima, por\u00e9m, vem perdendo receitas nos \u00faltimos anos.<\/p>\n<p>J\u00e1 na VerVent, segundo publica\u00e7\u00f5es especializadas europeias, a gest\u00e3o da Alpha Private Equity nos \u00faltimos dois anos focou exageradamente em efici\u00eancia e corte de custos, limitando os investimentos em inova\u00e7\u00e3o nas marcas Focal e Naim. Foi uma rea\u00e7\u00e3o aos n\u00fameros do per\u00edodo anterior. Entre 2023 e 2024, o faturamento do VerVent caiu 19,4%, sendo 16% com Focal e nada menos do que 31,7% com Naim.<\/p>\n<p>A Barco, por\u00e9m, mant\u00e9m longa tradi\u00e7\u00e3o de investimentos em tecnologias de ponta, exatamente o que Focal e Naim precisam neste momento. O grupo belga tem ainda necessidade de mostrar servi\u00e7o a seus acionistas, j\u00e1 que o primeiro semestre foi decepcionante. As a\u00e7\u00f5es da Barco NV na bolsa Euronext, que no in\u00edcio do ano rondavam a casa de 12 euros, chegaram na semana passada a \u20ac 8,02.
