Esse aparelho tamb\u00e9m \u201climpa\u201d a energia de ru\u00eddos transit\u00f3rios, que podem interferir no som e na imagem.<\/p>\n<p>A AAT (Advanced Audio Technologies) \u00e9 um dos fabricantes nacionais com a maior linha de condicionadores (10 op\u00e7\u00f5es) de diferentes capacidades, recursos e tomadas. Essas sete podem ser ligadas e desligadas pelo bot\u00e3o frontal no aparelho.<\/p>\n<p>Segundo a AAT, seu circuito <em>3-Mode Power Guard<\/em> \u00e9 o respons\u00e1vel pela prote\u00e7\u00e3o das nove tomadas contra subtens\u00e3o, sobretens\u00e3o, sobrecarga e curto-circuito, nos tr\u00eas modos: Fase e Neutro, Fase e Terra, Neutro e Terra. Pode ainda evitar surtos vindos pela rede de telefonia (RJ-11), conex\u00e3o LAN (RJ-45) e de TV a cabo ou antena (coaxial).<\/p>\n<p>Com capacidade m\u00e1xima de 8 amp\u00e8res, o primeiro banco de quatro tomadas \u00e9 indicado para proteger TVs, players de discos e de streaming. Ao contr\u00e1rio de muitos condicionadores, esse consome pouca energia (0,5W).<\/p>\n<p>Anos atr\u00e1s, tivemos um problema de sobretens\u00e3o causado por \u00e1rvore caindo sobre fios na rede el\u00e9trica, em uma tarde de forte chuva. Felizmente, a preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o durou apenas algumas horas: no restabelecimento da energia, constatamos que os equipamentos n\u00e3o sofreram danos.<\/p>\n<p>O incidente provocou apenas a queima do fus\u00edvel de seguran\u00e7a (20A) do condicionador, apesar de ligado a uma tomada devidamente aterrada. Essa \u00e9 uma recomenda\u00e7\u00e3o imprescind\u00edvel de fabricantes desse tipo de produto, para garantir maior efici\u00eancia da prote\u00e7\u00e3o e filtragem de ru\u00eddos. Ap\u00f3s a substitui\u00e7\u00e3o do fus\u00edvel, localizado em sua traseira, o PWC-2 voltou a funcionar com total confiabilidade.<\/p>\n<p>Outra ocorr\u00eancia, mais recente, foi causada por subtens\u00e3o, devido ao mau funcionamento do transformador (sobrecarregado) da concession\u00e1ria de energia. Durante quase uma semana, em hor\u00e1rios de pico a tens\u00e3o oscilava entre 80V e 116V, conforme mostrava o display do condicionador, que por medida de seguran\u00e7a desligava todas as tomadas.<\/p>\n<p>Quando a rede voltava aos par\u00e2metros normais de tens\u00e3o, entre 90V e 140V, o aparelho novamente ligava suas tomadas. Em outras palavras, passa maior seguran\u00e7a em manter nossos equipamentos de AV e at\u00e9 o computador ligado ao PWC-2, mesmo durante tempestades e varia\u00e7\u00f5es na rede el\u00e9trica.<\/p>\n<p>Recentemente, a linha de condicionadores de energia da AAT foi atualizada, ganhando modelos de segunda gera\u00e7\u00e3o. A principal diferen\u00e7a \u00e9 que, agora, todos os produtos tamb\u00e9m incluem prote\u00e7\u00e3o para redes GIGABIT LAN, atendendo \u00e0s novas demandas de velocidade da internet.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<table style=\"width: 100%;
