S\u00f3 colocando lado a lado uma OLED e uma LCD, exibindo os mesmos conte\u00fados, para se tirar a prova.<\/p>\n<p>Fato \u00e9 que Won-Jae Joo, uma engenheira do\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sait.samsung.co.kr\/saithome\/main\/main.do\"><strong>SAIT (Instituto de Tecnologia Avan\u00e7ada da Samsung),\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>decidiu se aprofundar no assunto, ap\u00f3s conversas com pesquisadores da Universidade Stanford, liderados pelo cientista Mark Brongersma. Especialista em energia solar, Joo pensou em usar na produ\u00e7\u00e3o de displays um princ\u00edpio similar ao dos pain\u00e9is de capta\u00e7\u00e3o da luz do sol, cujo nome t\u00e9cnico \u00e9\u00a0<em>metaphotonics<\/em>. Trata-se de manipular as ondas luminosas fazendo-as incidir sobre uma superf\u00edcie met\u00e1lica ultrareflexiva (<em>optical metasurface<\/em>), marcada com ranhuras microsc\u00f3picas. Ao bater nessas ranhuras, a luz branca se transforma em grada\u00e7\u00f5es de vermelho, verde ou azul (RGB). Os resultados impressionaram a comunidade cient\u00edfica do Vale do Sil\u00edcio (onde fica Stanford), a ponto do estudo ser publicado semana passada na revista Science, b\u00edblia do setor (<a href=\"https:\/\/science.sciencemag.org\/content\/370\/6515\/459\"><strong>vejam aqui<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Provavelmente, essa descoberta ir\u00e1 animar a Samsung a investir mais em pain\u00e9is org\u00e2nicos, algo que j\u00e1 provocou s\u00e9rias pol\u00eamicas dentro da empresa,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/orlandobarrozo.blog.br\/2020\/09\/25\/qd-oled-mais-perto-do-que-parece\/\"><strong>como mostramos neste post<\/strong><\/a>. Brongersma se diz muito otimista: \u201cAl\u00e9m do alto n\u00edvel de brilho\u201d, explicou ele ao blog QNewsHub, \u201cverificamos que aumenta tamb\u00e9m a acuidade das cores em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com os displays atuais.
