Agora, meu colega Ken Werner, jornalista e consultor de v\u00e1rios fabricantes de displays, escreve sobre o tema no site\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.displaydaily.com\/article\/display-daily\/samsung-gets-closer-to-blue-oled-plus-quantum-dots-for-color\"><strong>Display Daily<\/strong><\/a>, revelando que aqueles planos est\u00e3o virando realidade. A SDC (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.samsungdisplay.com\/eng\/intro\/history\/2010s.jsp\"><strong>Samsung Display Corp<\/strong><\/a>) anunciou na Coreia um investimento de espantosos US$ 11 bilh\u00f5es para converter uma antiga f\u00e1brica de pain\u00e9is LCD, localizada em Tangjeong, na sua primeira unidade de produ\u00e7\u00e3o especializada em QD-OLED.<\/p>\n<p>Para quem n\u00e3o est\u00e1 familiarizado, QD (<em>Quantum Dots<\/em>) \u00e9 a tecnologia por tr\u00e1s dos TVs QLED atuais. Trata-se de uma pel\u00edcula contendo milhares de pontos luminosos, n\u00e3o org\u00e2nicos, que al\u00e9m de ampliar a luminosidade gerada pelo painel de leds (backlight), podem ser direcionados a partir de impulsos el\u00e9tricos gerenciados por um processador.<\/p><div class=\"homet-conteudo\" style=\"text-align: center;\" id=\"homet-2241090469\"><div data-cfpa=\"36066\" data-cfpw=\"36066\" id=\"homet-2498167572\"><a data-no-instant=\"1\" href=\"https:\/\/loja.sommaior.com.br\/\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"a2t-link\" aria-label=\"ABBEY-ROAD_360x300px\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hometheater.com.br\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ABBEY-ROAD_360x300px.jpg\" alt=\"\"  class=\"no-lazyload\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\"   \/><\/a><\/div><script type=\"text\/javascript\">;new advadsCfpAd( 36066 );<\/script><\/div>\n<p>Nos pain\u00e9is QD-OLED, informa a SDC, os elementos luminosos s\u00e3o org\u00e2nicos e, por isso, com mais sensibilidade e capazes de emitir a pr\u00f3pria luz. S\u00f3 que, ao contr\u00e1rio dos OLEDs adotados hoje pela LG, os da Samsung n\u00e3o utilizam subpixels brancos, argumento da empresa para rebaixar a qualidade das TVs da concorrente. S\u00e3o usados somente elementos azuis, cuja luz atravessa uma pel\u00edcula QD para convert\u00ea-los em subpixels vermelhos e verdes. As informa\u00e7\u00f5es foram publicadas originalmente pelo site do jornal\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.koreaherald.com\/view.php?ud=20191010000760\"><strong>Korea Herald<\/strong><\/a>, de Seul.<\/p>\n<p>O problema desses planos, diz meu amigo Werner, \u00e9 que os OLEDs azuis s\u00e3o mais caros, menos eficientes em termos de fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o (as perdas s\u00e3o maiores) e envelhecem mais r\u00e1pido. Mais: exigem pel\u00edculas ultra sens\u00edveis para absorver toda a luz e evitar vazamentos \u2013 que comprometem a pureza das cores.
