Lembro de um antigo colega que se enfurecia a cada novo formato de m\u00eddia. Durante anos colecionou fitas VHS com seus filmes de cabeceira, mas se irritou quando descobriu que o DVD lhe permitia substituir todas aquelas velharias. Nova crise quando veio o Blu-ray, com fant\u00e1sticas imagens em alta defini\u00e7\u00e3o daqueles mesmos filmes. Achava que os est\u00fadios de cinema s\u00f3 pensavam em \u201cexplorar\u201d o pobre f\u00e3, obrigando-o a comprar v\u00e1rias vezes os mesmos t\u00edtulos.<\/p>\n<p>Vejo agora que a esp\u00e9cie continua se multiplicando. Por acaso, vi no CE Pro \u2013 site que h\u00e1 anos \u00e9 a \u201cb\u00edblia\u201d dos profissionais de AV &amp; Automa\u00e7\u00e3o \u2013 coment\u00e1rio sobre um artigo intitulado \u201cCasa Inteligente n\u00e3o vale a pena\u201d, publicado em outro site de tecnologia (<a href=\"https:\/\/gizmodo.uol.com.br\/tecnologia\/dicas\/\"><strong>Gizmodo<\/strong><\/a>). N\u00e3o encontrei o texto na edi\u00e7\u00e3o em portugu\u00eas do site, por isso tomo a liberdade de reproduzir trechos aqui. Basicamente, o autor que se assina Andrew Liszewski relata suas perip\u00e9cias tentando fazer funcionar diversos dispositivos smart que comprou para sua casa.<\/p><div class=\"homet-conteudo\" style=\"text-align: center;\" id=\"homet-913491086\"><div data-cfpa=\"36066\" data-cfpw=\"36066\" id=\"homet-3121672263\"><a data-no-instant=\"1\" href=\"https:\/\/loja.sommaior.com.br\/\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"a2t-link\" aria-label=\"ABBEY-ROAD_360x300px\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hometheater.com.br\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ABBEY-ROAD_360x300px.jpg\" alt=\"\"  class=\"no-lazyload\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\"   \/><\/a><\/div><script type=\"text\/javascript\">;new advadsCfpAd( 36066 );<\/script><\/div>\n<p>Para Liszewski, que se identifica como \u201cespecialista\u201d em tecnologia, a ideia de ter uma empresa \u201ccontrolando todos os equipamentos da casa\u201d lhe parece assustadora. Mesmo assim, ele se queixa da dificuldade em integrar os mais de 20 itens que possui, de v\u00e1rias marcas diferentes: aspirador de p\u00f3, geladeira, ventiladores, aquecedores, purificadores de ar e muitas, muitas l\u00e2mpadas smart de led. Estas, da famosa linha Philips Hue, aparentemente foram as que mais o irritaram, a tal ponto que depois de v\u00e1rias tentativas simplesmente desistiu de integr\u00e1-las ao seu app de ilumina\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Foi o suficiente para nosso amigo concluir que, \u201ccom as atuais limita\u00e7\u00f5es tecnol\u00f3gicas, a diversidade de padr\u00f5es e a quantidade de produtos que se tornam obsoletos em pouco tempo, tentar realizar o sonho da casa inteligente simplesmente n\u00e3o vale a pena\u201d. Mais \u00e0 frente, ele escreve: \u201cN\u00e3o existe uma empresa que produza os melhores dispositivos em todas as categorias\u201d. Cabe aqui responder: \u201cAinda bem\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>O artigo (<a href=\"https:\/\/gizmodo.com\/the-smart-home-isnt-worth-it-1846772661\"><strong>quem quiser pode ler aqui, em ingl\u00eas<\/strong><\/a>) \u00e9 t\u00e3o absurdo que gerou o coment\u00e1rio de Jason Knott, editor do CE Pro. Ele lembrou, com propriedade, que em nenhuma parte do texto h\u00e1 qualquer refer\u00eancia \u00e0 possibilidade de se contratar um profissional especializado para integrar todos os dispositivos citados. O t\u00edtulo (<em>Smart Home Isn\u2019t Worth It<\/em>) s\u00f3 se aplica, diz Knott, a pessoas que desconhecem essa profiss\u00e3o e n\u00e3o admitem pagar pelo servi\u00e7o. \u201c\u00c9 como voc\u00ea querer sozinho consertar os defeitos do seu carro, esquecendo que existem mec\u00e2nicos\u201d, compara (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cepro.com\/business-support\/associations-buying-groups\/misguided-gizmodo-says-smart-home-isnt-worth-it\/?utm_source=email&amp;utm_medium=mc&amp;utm_campaign=142919\"><strong>aqui, o original na \u00edntegra<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Quis trazer aqui essa discuss\u00e3o para mostrar que o mercado de automa\u00e7\u00e3o, embora esteja evoluindo (inclusive no Brasil), ainda parece longe de atingir massa cr\u00edtica. J\u00e1 li e ouvi muitas vezes que produtos smart do tipo plug-and-play e de baixo custo resolvem tudo na casa, o que evidentemente \u00e9 uma engana\u00e7\u00e3o, especialmente para consumidores leigos. Agora, quando um site internacional de tecnologia, publicado em v\u00e1rios idiomas, revela tal desconhecimento, a coisa \u00e9 realmente preocupante.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e3o deixa de ser sintom\u00e1tico que, nos coment\u00e1rios ao artigo do Gizmodo, alguns leitores lembram ao autor que o chamado do-it-yourself nem sempre \u00e9 o \u201cjeito mais f\u00e1cil\u201d, e pode ser o mais dif\u00edcil, de se montar um sistema de automa\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Se o sujeito n\u00e3o consegue nem instalar l\u00e2mpadas, realmente n\u00e3o est\u00e1 preparado para o \u201cdeixa-que-eu-fa\u00e7o\u201d.
