O principal objetivo \u00e9 facilitar o acesso a pessoas que possuem aparelhos antigos que n\u00e3o possam ser atualizados para os novos codecs.<\/p>\n<p>Embora j\u00e1 adote h\u00e1 algum tempo o codec AV1, o mais avan\u00e7ado para tr\u00e1fego de conte\u00fados Full-HD com \u00e1udio surround, a Netflix reconhece no comunicado que muitos usu\u00e1rios n\u00e3o t\u00eam equipamentos (TVs, computadores, smartphones, notebooks e tablets) compat\u00edveis. Esse codec exige processadores mais r\u00e1pidos e com mais mem\u00f3ria operacional, que nem sempre pode ser adicionada.<\/p><div class=\"homet-conteudo\" style=\"text-align: center;\" id=\"homet-853154345\"><div data-cfpa=\"36066\" data-cfpw=\"36066\" id=\"homet-770812660\"><a data-no-instant=\"1\" href=\"https:\/\/loja.sommaior.com.br\/\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"a2t-link\" aria-label=\"ABBEY-ROAD_360x300px\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hometheater.com.br\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ABBEY-ROAD_360x300px.jpg\" alt=\"\"  class=\"no-lazyload\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\"   \/><\/a><\/div><script type=\"text\/javascript\">;new advadsCfpAd( 36066 );<\/script><\/div>\n<p>A empresa informou ter providenciado um upgrade no codec H.264\/AVC para que as atualiza\u00e7\u00f5es possam ser feitas individualmente em cada t\u00edtulo de seu cat\u00e1logo. Para cada filme ou s\u00e9rie, o algoritmo da Netflix analisa as varia\u00e7\u00f5es no fluxo de dados (<i>bit-rate<\/i>), fazendo os ajustes em tempo real. Com essa mudan\u00e7a, \u00e9 estimada uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o de 20% no tr\u00e1fego de dados&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hometheater.com.br\/portal\/2020\/07\/13\/novo-padrao-de-compressao-de-video-e-50-mais-rapido\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.hometheater.com.br\/portal\/2020\/07\/13\/novo-padrao-de-compressao-de-video-e-50-mais-rapido\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1599041276131000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHwe8SMWmhkaZhrvuNAzU_8-lofJA\">sem degradar a qualidade de imagem<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A medida, segundo a Netflix, tamb\u00e9m afeta a produtividade de sua CDN (<i>Content Delivery Network<\/i>), nome dado ao servidor que comanda toda a distribui\u00e7\u00e3o de conte\u00fados da plataforma.
