Para muitas pessoas o baixo n\u00edvel de preto nem \u00e9 um problema, mas para quem \u00e9 exigente percebe que isso tamb\u00e9m compromete a fidelidade de cores.<\/p>\n<p>As tonalidades escuras ficam menos intensas, fazendo com que a imagem inteira pare\u00e7a um pouco \u201clavada\u201d. Felizmente esse problema inerente aos displays LCDs, sobretudo os de linhas mais populares, pode ser corrigido ao menos parcialmente com ajustes simples. Quando o ambiente \u00e9 escuro ou durante uma sess\u00e3o noturna, o ajuste de brilho mais baixo n\u00e3o \u00e9 um problema. Por\u00e9m, o mesmo n\u00e3o podemos dizer com o uso da TV de dia, ou numa sala onde n\u00e3o h\u00e1 controle de luz externa, mesmo fechando janela e cortina.<\/p>\n<p>Para um ajuste b\u00e1sico, sugerimos algumas imagens de refer\u00eancia; pode ser de uma cena de filme, document\u00e1rio ou uma foto da fam\u00edlia tirada por uma boa c\u00e2mera com resolu\u00e7\u00e3o igual ou superior a da sua tela. Use como fonte de sinal um pen drive, videogame ou player de Blu-ray. Aumente o controle de brilho at\u00e9 ver os detalhes nas \u00e1reas mais escuras da imagem. Depois, diminua-o novamente para que fique o mais preto poss\u00edvel, sem ocultar esses detalhes. Diminua o controle de contraste at\u00e9 ver todos os detalhes, como as sombras nas dobras do vestido ou os sutis tons de cinza das nuvens. Aumentar a luminosidade resultar\u00e1 em imagem mais clara, o que \u00e9 importante no uso diurno, mas tamb\u00e9m pode aumentar os vazamentos de luz nas extremidades da tela, percept\u00edveis quando a sala estiver escura.
