A informa\u00e7\u00e3o foi dada por Jos\u00e9 Felix, presidente do grupo Am\u00e9rica M\u00f3vil (que controla as duas empresas), durante a ABTA 2016, feira e congresso da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Brasileira de TV por Assinatura, que est\u00e1 acontecendo esta semana em S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cO VoD blindou a TV por assinatura\u201d, comparou Felix durante um debate com outros executivos da ind\u00fastria. \u201cN\u00e3o conhe\u00e7o outro servi\u00e7o que seja t\u00e3o acessado, os resultados superaram totalmente as nossas expectativas\u201d. Segundo Felix, metade do volume de acessos (aproximadamente 600 milh\u00f5es) aconteceu nos \u00faltimos doze meses, quando NET (TV a cabo) e Claro (sat\u00e9lite) unificaram suas opera\u00e7\u00f5es. \u201cO Now \u00e9 uma das maiores plataformas de distribui\u00e7\u00e3o de conte\u00fado do mundo, com mais de 35 mil t\u00edtulos dispon\u00edveis ao assinante\u201d, acrescentou o executivo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Ainda de acordo com o presidente do grupo, a estrat\u00e9gia \u00e9 continuar investindo &#8211; apesar da retra\u00e7\u00e3o no n\u00famero de assinantes &#8211; para atingir o consumidor que est\u00e1 descobrindo a TV por assinatura. \u201cEsse \u00e9 um fato muito relevante no nosso mercado: nossa queda foi essencialmente no DTH da Claro, que atende a Classe C.
