Criado pelo Google, o acess\u00f3rio distribu\u00eddo oficialmente no Brasil \u00e0 \u00e9poca desse teste ainda era o de primeira gera\u00e7\u00e3o, lan\u00e7ado em 2015, e no tamanho de um pen-drive. Mas hoje a empresa j\u00e1 oferece o modelo de segunda gera\u00e7\u00e3o (mais detalhes <a href=\"http:\/\/revistahometheater.uol.com.br\/site\/tec_noticias_02.php?id_lista_txt=9638\">aqui<\/a>). O Chromecast transmite conte\u00fados de smartphones e tablets Android e iOS para qualquer televisor com entrada HDMI, mesmo que seja antigo. A ideia \u00e9 tornar o TV mais inteligente, embora sem contar ainda com grande n\u00famero de aplicativos da loja Google Play, como ocorre nos modelos com sistema operacional Android mais recentes.<\/p>\n<p>A instala\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 muito f\u00e1cil e feita em poucas etapas. Basta plugar o Chromecast em uma das entradas HDMI do TV e o cabo USB de alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m no aparelho, ou conectar \u00e0 tomada de energia \u2013 via adaptador incluso \u2013, baixar o app hom\u00f4nimo, conectar o dispositivo \u00e0 rede e pronto. E se a rede estiver com boa velocidade (acima de 5 Mbps) o streaming possibilita imagens limpas e resolu\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00e1xima de 1080p, sem travamentos. No caso do Netflix, por exemplo, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel voltar ao seriado no ponto onde parou de forma semelhante a um TV Smart. Os comandos de reprodu\u00e7\u00e3o passam a ser feitos pelo pr\u00f3prio smartphone; assim como pesquisas por voz no buscador.<\/p>\n<p>Mas uma atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o recente garante a interoperabilidade entre Chromecast protocolo HDMI-CEC, encontrado em diversos TVs. E se voc\u00ea \u00e9 daqueles que o computador, seja Windows ou MAC, o acompanha em casa e no escrit\u00f3rio, basta ativar a fun\u00e7\u00e3o Chromecast do navegador Google Chrome para espelhar o site que est\u00e1 visualizando.<\/p>\n<p>Quando n\u00e3o h\u00e1 reprodu\u00e7\u00e3o de conte\u00fado, o plano de fundo do Chromecast exibe fotos de obras de arte, por\u00e9m, \u00e9 configur\u00e1vel para que apresente informa\u00e7\u00f5es do tempo ou fotos da fam\u00edlia em modo slide show, esteja no smartphone ou nas nuvens (Google Fotos).<\/p>\n<p>No home theater, o Chromecast tem grande utilidade: pode-se conectar o acess\u00f3rio diretamente no projetor (tanto HDMI quanto USB), ou, melhor, no receiver. Neste caso, o sistema passa a reproduzir a trilha Dolby Digital\/Digital Plus 5.1 das s\u00e9ries e filmes transmitidos pelo Netflix e o \u00e1udio est\u00e9reo do Spotify, do Google Music e dos clipes do Vevo.<\/p>\n<p>Com o Chromecast o usu\u00e1rio ganha uma nova experi\u00eancia de ver seus conte\u00fados prediletos a qualquer hora e em qualquer lugar, sem ter que trocar seu TV antigo por um Smart. A convite do Google, nossa equipe esteve na sede da empresa, em S\u00e3o Paulo, para conferir a novidade. Assim como a primeira vers\u00e3o dispon\u00edvel no mercado, o novo permite transmitir conte\u00fados reproduzidos no smartphone diretamente para um TV ou projetor com entrada HDMI, por meio de uma rede Wi-Fi.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m do design circular que integra extensor HDMI, a segunda gera\u00e7\u00e3o do Chromecast incorpora, pelo menos, quatro tipos de melhorias na parte t\u00e9cnica. O dispositivo passa a ser compat\u00edvel com tecnologia dual band, operando nas frequ\u00eancias de 2,4 e 5GHz, e o protocolo de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o 802.11ac. Um sistema adapt\u00e1vel de tr\u00eas antenas internas controladas por um algoritmo garante que o chip Wi-Fi esteja sempre usando a melhor frequ\u00eancia em qualquer ambiente, mesmo aqueles em \u00e1reas densamente povoadas, como condom\u00ednios de pr\u00e9dios.<\/p>\n<p>O Google anunciou ainda o lan\u00e7amento do Chromecast Audio. Uma vers\u00e3o de visual id\u00eantico, mas dedicada ao streaming de m\u00fasicas, not\u00edcias e podcasts para sistemas de \u00e1udio mais antigos, ou recentes que n\u00e3o acessam a internet. Com isso, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel combinar diversos aparelhos e transmitir som para v\u00e1rios ambientes.<\/p>\n<p>Ou, se o usu\u00e1rio assinar mais de um servi\u00e7o de streaming, como Google Play M\u00fasica, Spotify ou Deezer, enviar sinais distintos a equipamentos mantidos em c\u00f4modos diferentes da resid\u00eancia. Neste caso, a conex\u00e3o do Chromecast Audio deve ser feita atrav\u00e9s de conector P2 \u2013 com cabo de 3,5 mil\u00edmetros.
